Wilson’s geographically diverse practice includes mergers and acquisitions in the United States, Europe, Canada and Mexico, as well as transactional expertise in Asia and South America. Wilson has counseled prominent international and domestic clients, from European investors to Coca-Cola bottlers. He has worked closely on legal and business matters with manufacturers of high-tech products and financial institutions. Wilson believes that his notable successes are instances where he helped clients achieve results that the clients were initially certain were unattainable, or to avoid difficulties that the clients were initially certain were inevitable.
Wilson’s wide ranging expertise includes conducting highly sensitive investigations for clients into internal controls, commercial bribery, employee theft and fraud, recovering millions of dollars. He also represents clients in virtually all types of commercial litigation, including securities, antitrust, mortgage banking, trade secrets, trademark, patent infringement, RICO, fraud, bankruptcy and appellate work. His transactional experience is equally broad, encompassing corporate acquisitions and restructuring, commercial real estate, financing and tax.
Wilson’s personal interest in computer systems and security led to a proficiency that rivals information technology professionals. Other interests include photography and diving, especially at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Wilson is married and has a daughter and a son.
